This is a World War II Occupation Period United States Labor Corps shoulder patch for a Latvian worker. Many qualified Labor Corps members ended up coming stateside to start the US Special Forces Training Corps. The patch is crest-shaped and reads LATVIAN across the top.
VINTAGE:Circa post-World War II (Occupation Period).
SIZE:Approximately 3" in height and 2-5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool, cotton embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The patch shows some light wear with one small moth bite on reverse.
