Description
This is a minty World War II Nazi Naval (Kriegsmarine) battle flag. It is by a rare maker named Curt Brautigam from Plauen, Vogtland, in the German state of Saxony. The edge of the flag is marked with his name and an eagle, swastika and M mark as well. The flag measures 150 centimeters by 250 centimeters and has a rope attachment. It still retains its vivid scarlet hue.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 56" in width and 93" in length (150 cm by 250 cm).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Woven cotton/linen, rope.
ATTACHMENT:Rope with one looped end.
