ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Nazi Field Police winter hat in police green wool. It is trimmed in rabbit fur with quilted ear flaps and has an aluminum eagle badge at its center. The hat is a size 58 and has is dated 1944 on the interior.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: European size 58 (approximate size 7 1/4).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool, fur, cotton lining, aluminum, cloth ties.

ATTACHMENT: Tie to keep flaps up.

MARKINGS: R. B. Nr. 0/1200/0747 58 1944.
