WWII Italian-Made Ashtray for USAAF 718th Bomb Squad, 449th Bomb Group, 15th Air Force

This is an Italian-made ashtray for the United States 718th Bomb Squadron, 448th Bomb Group, 15th Air Force. The ashtray is painted in beautiful tones suitable for a fresco and shows an eagle with missiles in relief. Four medallions around the edge of the ashtray alternately show the group's winged horse insignia and a star.

Circa World War II.

1" height and 5-7/8" in diameter.

Painted plaster of Paris.
