This is a World War II "fitter", or "montatore", rank badge for an Italian Air Force non-commissioned officer. The badge is rectangular and is embroidered in silver bullion.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/2" in height and 1-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in silver bullion, cotton backing.
ATTACHMENT:None.
