Description
This is a World War II German Naval Submarine Front or Combat Clasp in silver. The clasp was reportedly published in Detlev Niemann's "Berwertungs-Katalog Deutschland" (Price Guide Germany) Volume 1, and also in Michael Tucker's "German Combat Badges of the Third Reich". NOTE: The patina makes swastika appear uneven, this is not the case.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 7/8" in height and 2-15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Zinc or white metal.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal T-style kick pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:ENTWURF PEEKHAUS AUSF. SCHWERN BERLIN 68.
