WWII German E-Boat Badge Type 2 - Extremely Rare in This Condition

This is a World War II German E-Boat badge in the second type that bears an A. D. Schwert maker's mark. This badge is pictured in Michael Tucker's "German Combat Badges of the Third Reich" and in Detlev Niemann's 'Berwertungs-Katalog Deutschland' (Price Guide Germany) Volume It is extremely rare to find this badge in such excellent condition.

Circa World War II.

Approximately 2-5/16" in height and 2-1/16" in width.

Plated zinc or white metal.

Horizontal kick pin with C catch and hook at top on reverse.

Maker mark of A. D. Schwert (interlocking AS within triangle).
