ARTIFACT:

This is a shoulder patch for the United States Fleet Marine Force Pacific bomb disposal company. The patch reads FMF-PAC and shows an eagle at top with three stars and a missile at center. There is detail on the eagle's wings that is not found in other variations of the patch.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

3-5/8" height and 3" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Red fully-embroidered patch in multi-colored cotton/silk threads.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a United States Marine Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. Patch purchased may either be this precise patch or one that is extremely similar. VAJL94 LCHX 7/10
