This is a police badge in silver-plated steel from Salem, New Hampshire from the World War II era. The badge is very flat and shows the seal of the State of New Hampshire in relief at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-15/16" in height and 2-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver-plated steel with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows some small areas of light to medium wear and tarnish and some small spots of minor oxidation.
