ARTIFACT: WWII Era Boston, Massachusetts Police Special Patrolman badge in wartime shortage white metal rare with bright finish remaining. The center of the badge displays the number "6471" and surrounding it reads: "BOSTON POLICE 6471 SPECIAL PATROLMAN"

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/16" x 1-3/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated white metal, paint

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. We have one more available in this condition, the badge you will receive will either be the one pictured or one in similar condition. MHX90 LIEX12/15

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge shows moderate surface wear, much of the plating and painted details remain intact.
