ARTIFACT: This is a World War II English-made United States Army Major rank insignia. The leaf is made by J. R. Gaunt of London.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 1" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal British kick (Y) pin with C catch.

MARKINGS: J.R. GAUNT LONDON.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL95 LBIX3/12 hBIX1/15

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The insignia shows only very light wear.
