ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Australian volunteer tab for the Royal Desert Air Force. The Desert Air Force was formed from cooperating forces from Australia, South Africa, Britain, the United States and other allies. The flash is in khaki twill with light brown embroidery.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in height and 2-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Twill, cotton/silk embroidery thread.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Great Britain and Commonwealth militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCX89 LFJX1/12

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch shows some wear along the edge.
