Description
This is a British - made .45 clip pouch made in 1944 and used by the United States during World War II. The pouch has two inner sleeves and two buttons that read LIFT THE DOT as instruction on how to open the pouch.
VINTAGE:Circa 1944.
SIZE:Approximately 5-3/8" in height x 4" in width when closed (about 8" x 4" when open flat).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton duck and plated brass hardware.
ATTACHMENT:Two snap-in buttons for closure and a snap attachment to attach to belt (not included).
MARKINGS:U.S M.E. CO. 1944 BRITISH MADE AA; LIFT THE DOT.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The pouch has some small spots of moderate wear and oxidation on the hardware and a few small areas of slight discoloration.
