Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 5th ("e;V"e;) Bomber Command, 5th Air Force jacket patch. 

The patch is painted leather, and was either made in Australia or New Guinea. 
It shows a bomb labeled BOMB COMMAND sailing through a "V" for Victory.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

About 4-1/2" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Leather with painted image.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto a garment.

None.
