This is a World War I Vermont State "Green Mountain Guard" collar disc. The disc shows a pine tree at center and reads FREEDOM AND UNITY.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): Badge shows light to medium wear and tarnish and catch is slightly bent.
