This is a scarce right-facing United States Navy officer's cap badge from the World War I period.
VINTAGE:Circa 1918.
SIZE:55 mm wide by 57 mm high.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bullion and metal wire sewn to wool felt.
ATTACHMENT:Was originally sewn to the rest of a cap band for wear on a US Naval officer's visor cap.
