WWI US Army 1st Lieutenant Bar Hat Pin with Diagonal Stripe Pattern

This is a World War I United States Army 1st lieutenant's bar hat pin with a diagonal stripe pattern in which some stripes are more prominent than others.

Circa World War I.

Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 3/8" in width.

Plated brass.

Vertical pin with C catch.
