This is a Royal Air Force veterans' lapel badge from World War I. The badge shows an eagle on a field of emerald enamel and reads ROYAL AIR FORCE 70812.
VINTAGE:Circa post-World War I.
SIZE:1-7/16" height and 13/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass with green enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Stud with crescent-shaped end.
MARKINGS:DINGLEY B'HAM.
