ARTIFACT: This is a World War I "Indianapolis War Chest" celluloid pin. The pin is striped in blue and white and shows a solid red chest at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 13/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Celluloid-wrapped tin.

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin.

MARKINGS: THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. BUTTONS, BADGES, NOVELTIES & SIGNS NEWARK, N.J. and union mark.
