This is a circa World War I membership pin for the Aerial League of America, a civilian aviation organization. The pin is by Whitehead & Hoag and shows a winged propeller at its center and reads ALA.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 11/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Copper-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Lapel stud.
MARKINGS:WHITEHEAD & HOAG NEWARK, N.J.
