ARTIFACT: This is a World War I American Field Service donation fob. The fob is shaped like a knight's cross and at center shows a rooster and the American and French flags. The front of he fob reads VIVE LA FRANCE and the reverse reads THE AMERICAN FUND FOR FRENCH WOUNDED.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: 1-3/16" height and 1-3/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass with red, white and blue enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Loop.

MARKINGS: None.
