ARTIFACT:

This is a World War I United States Army Adjutant General Department scribe officer's insignia of two crossed quills over a crest with stars and stripes.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 1-9/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Copper.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with "C" catch.
