Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a World War I 4th Liberty Loan service award for Hardware Metals and Allied Trades.

The pin is oval with a blue enameled border and a red, white and blue flag at center.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

Approximately 1/2" in height and 7/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS:

FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE 4TH LIBERTY LOAN DIEGES & CLUST.

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The pin has light wear and tarnish; end of pin is slightly bent.
