ARTIFACT:
This is a WWI hat badge from the Royal Flying Corps, the over-land air arm of the British military during World War I. The pin shows the RFC insignia wreathed by laurel leaves with a crown atop.
VINTAGE:
Circa WWI.
SIZE:
1-3/4" height and 1-1/2" width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Plated brass.

Two loops (one broken) with cotter pin.
