Wonderful WWII UK Aircraft War Worker badge for Rubery Owen Messier Ltd. The center of the enameled badge shows an eagle landing or descending in flight and surrounding it reads: "RUBERY OWEN MESSIER LTD." and the bottom is numbered: "629". The reverse reads: "IF FOUND Please RETURN TO NEAREST POLICE STATION A REWARD OF 5/- WILL BE PAID TO THE FINDER". In 1937, Rubery Owen became Rubery Owen Messier and began manufacturing aircraft parts, during WWII the company was dedicated to supporting the war effort and manufactured parts for military aircraft, including the De Havilland Mosquito.
