ARTIFACT:

This is a wonderful World War I Victory bowling tournament participant badge. It is from 1918 and reads FOR THE BOYS OVER THERE on reverse. The badge is a pinback with an American flag ribbon affixed to it.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 7/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass, woven cotton/silk ribbon.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with tongue-style catch, suspension loop, rivet/brad holding on ribbon.

MARKINGS:

None.
