This is a Wonderful & Rare Late 1930's Nassau County New York Police Detective Badge #165 in Gold Fill. Nassau County first started to use their Rampant Lion Seal on badges in 1938, and this badge would date to the earliest time of that usage.
VINTAGE:Ca 1938.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4" in height x 2-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold Fill on brass with Hard Fired Enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with drop in locking catch.
