ARTIFACT: This is a Wonderful Pair of Late 1880's Colorado Badges Gilpin County Deputy Sheriff & Black Hawk Alderman. Found Together.

VINTAGE: Late 1880s.

SIZE: Approximately

Gilpin Co Deputy Badge: 2-1/8” in height x 1-7/8” in width.  

Black Hawk Alderman Badge: 1-11/16” in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION: 

Gilpin Co Deputy Badge: Nickel-plated Nickel with painted lettering and brass findings.

Black Hawk Alderman Badge: This Brass Badge originally had a light gold wash that was polished off many years ago during the period of wear.
