ARTIFACT:
This is a wonderful old leather riding crop with a huge concealed dagger with a three-sided blade. The crop is in beautiful cognac leather with a braided detail. The dagger has a leather-wrapped wooden handle and slides into the top of the crop.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1910s-1920s.
SIZE:
Crop: approximately 22-3/4" in length and 1-3/16" in width; dagger: approximately 18-3/4" in length and 1" in width; blade only: approximately 13-1/4" in length and 3/4" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Leather, wood, steel.
ATTACHMENT:
Loops, dagger slides into crop.
