Wonderful late 1940's Vintage Las Vegas El Cortez Hotel & Casino Ashtray

Wonderful, late 1940's vintage Las Vegas El Cortez Hotel & Casino ashtray. Built in 1941, the El Cortez is one of the few casinos that have yet to change its exterior facade or signage, the ranch themed architecture has remained for more than seventy years. The hotel-casino property is one of the smaller venues on the strip, its motto is, "Where the Locals Come to Play" and is today one of the oldest, continually operated casino in Las Vegas. The glass ashtray reads: "EL CORTEZ HOTEL LAS VEGAS NEVADA" in the center in orange painted detail.
