This is a Wonderful HUGE circa 1900 Armour & Co Plant Police Badge from SOUTH Omaha Nebraska.
The Armour Packing Plant was a division of Armour and Company located at South 29th and Q Streets in South Omaha, Nebraska.
The plant opened in 1897.
There were a number of large riots and civil unrest that originated or included events at the Armour Packing Plant... so this badge has a lot of stories to tell!!
VINTAGE:
Circa 1900.
SIZE:Approximately: 3-1/4" in height x 2-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Stamped Nickel-plated brass
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
