Wonderful & Extremely Rare WWII WASP Graduation Badge by the J. J. Sweeney Co.

Wonderful and extremely rare WWII WASP (Women Air Service Pilot) Graduation badge in enameled sterling silver by the J. J. Sweeney Co. The badge is in a great Disney design and features "Fifinella", the friendly female gremlin drawn by Roald Dahl for the big screen but instead adopted by the WASPS as their mascot. The reverse shows a maker's mark that reads: "J. J. SWEENEY JLY. CO. STER."

Enameled silver.
