Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a wonderful circa early World War II shoulder patch for the United States Army 2nd Corps, Signal Corps. The II Corps suffered some defeats to the German Army and their panzers early on, but regained their foothold when General Patton took the reins in March 194The patch is rectangular and shows the Roman numeral II flanked by an eagle and a rampant lion. It is bordered in orange, the color of the Signal Corps.

VINTAGE:

Circa early World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-15/16" in height and 3-1/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
