This is a Wonderful Circa 1900 McAlester Indian Territory (Later Oklahoma) 6-point Star Police Badge # 12.
McAlester, Oklahoma, is a city situated within the historical Indian Territory, which was a vast area in the United States west of the Mississippi River that encompassed what is now much of Oklahoma. McAlester's history is closely tied to the Choctaw Nation, as it was originally part of the Choctaw Nation's territory within the Indian Territory. The city's development was significantly influenced by James J. McAlester, who played a key role in the Choctaw Nation's economy and later became a prominent figure in Oklahoma politics.

CONDITION:
8 (Excellent-): The badge shows moderate wear, and duty worn great patina, overall, it is in excellent condition as a circa 1900s.
