This is a Wonderful circa 1870's Fire Department Bugle Rank Badge Set for Assistant Fireman, Now Lieutenant. Lead Filled Stamped Sheet Nickel. Earliest example I have seen.
VINTAGE:Circa 1870s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/2" in height x 3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Lead Filled Stamped Sheet Nickel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.

CONDITION:8(Excellent): The badge shows minor wear and lead filled stamped sheet nickel is "earliest example" I have seen,.
