ARTIFACT: Wonderful 3 – piece WWII United States Army Air Forces Escape & Evasion Lot. Early 1st Type MID-X Blood Chit #'d W 7114, with United States Flag in silk, and early Pointie Talkie phrase book, also both stamped with the serial #7114 in red.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately Blood Chit: 9-5/8" x 7-7/8"; US Silk Flag: 12" x 8"; Phrase book: 4-5/8" x 4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: US Flag: silk, ink; Blood Chit: silk, ink; Phrase book: Canvas wrapped paper, paper, ink, sewn binding

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USAAF Escape & Evasion collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CON-EDK-25-16 LGGEX8/16

CONDITION: 7+ (Overall – Very Fine+): The blood chit shows moderate soiling, the phrase book shows moderate use mostly to edges, some separation to the binding – it remains intact, the US flag is in remarkable condition, overall very fine condition.
