This is a Wonderful 1880's - 1890's Larimer County Colorado Under Sheriff Circle Star Badge with an Early Sachs-Lawlor Maker Mark.
The Under Sheriff is the 2nd in command, under the Sheriff, hence the title.
The County Seat of Larimer County is famous Old West Overland Stage Route Stop, Fort Collins, and the county is located in North Central Colorado, on the Wyoming border.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1880's - 1890's.
SIZE:Approximately 1-11/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated nickel with black painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
