This is a Wonderful 1880’s LARGE & Unique Marshal & Constable Circle Cut Out Star Shield Badge by C.W. Wadsworth of Springfield Ohio.

C.W. Wadsworth of Springfield, Ohio, was a 19th- and early 20th-century maker and engraver known for producing metal checks, tokens, luggage tags, and livery stable checks.

VINTAGE:

1880s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/4" in height x 2-3/8" in width

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-Plated Nickel, and a lead Soldered nickel pin and brass C catch.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical Safety style pin.
