ARTIFACT: Wonderful 1870's - 1880's 'Old West' Iowa Detective Association circle star badge with amazing patina. From the heyday of the Jesse James Gang.

VINTAGE: Circa 1870's – 1880's

SIZE: Approximately 1-7/8" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickeled brass, black paint

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style pin with saddle

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old western police and lawman badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VDBJP16 LAFGEX6/16 SAFGEX02/19

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows moderate wear, some of the blackened details remain intact, overall gorgeous patina.
