Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a numbered Western Air Lines Swiss watch. The glass face has black painted numbers representing military time overlaying the numbers 1-12 and WESTERN AIR LINES painted in red. There is a second hand as well.

VINTAGE:

Circa unknown.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-7/16" in height and 1-1/16" in width and 5/16" in depth.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass, glass.

ATTACHMENT:

Two rectangular slits for strap (no strap included), hinges.

MARKINGS:

220707 on reverse; SWISS (twice) on face.

CONDITION:

7 (Very Fine): Watch shows some small spots of light to medium wear and tarnish; able to wind watch but it does not keep time.
