Vintage Ray-Ban Sunglasses (Small Size) in Original Case

Great vintage Ray-Ban aviator style sunglasses in original case. The glasses feature celluloid nose pads and arm guards. The underside of the bridge shows a maker's mark which reads: "B&L RAY-BAN 58-14" (unable to photograph). Each arm has an ear pad, one reads: "LO295VS&S". The original case is crush-resistant and lined with felt and features a flap with a snap closure and maker's mark that reads: "BAUSCH & LOMB IMPACT RESISTANT LENSES RAY-BAN ¨", the reverse features slits for belt attachment.

Circa mid-20th century

Approximately 5-1/2" x 2" (single lens: 2-3/8" x 2"); Arm: 5-1/2" long; 6-2/8" x 2-3/4" (5-1/4" flap open)

Glass lenses, celluloid, vinyl, steel, felt, paint

Case: Flap lid with snap closure

"B&L RAY-BAN USA" on glasses; "BL" engraved on lens near arm, "BAUSCH & LOMB IMPACT RESISTANT LENSES RAY-BAN ¨", "LO295VS&S" on ear pad.

9- (Excellent+): The sunglasses show minor wear, the lenses are remarkable, case and glasses are in excellent condition.
