Vintage Eastman A-2 Jacket with Hand Painted 5th Bomb Group Insignia Lightly Worn Size 40

Vintage Eastman Leather Company A-2 leather jacket size 40. The jacket displays a painted 5th Bomb Squadron insignia depicting a skull with golden wings, below which reads: "KIAI O KALEWA". The inside liner is cotton with exceptional detail and stamped markings that resemble the A2's original look. Eastman is a well-known maker of high quality and historically accurate reproductions. The tag inside reads: "TYPE A-2 DEG.NO. 30-1415 CONT. NO W535 AC-23373 EASTMAN LEATHER CLO. PROPERTY AIR FORCES U.S. ARMY 40"

Circa 1980's

Size 40. Approximately 23" from armpit to armpit; 26" length from collar to hem (on reverse); 25" from shoulder seam to cuff; 18 ??" between shoulders

Leather, cotton, wool, paint, metal.
