Vintage 1970s USAF PG-58 Pilots Sunglasses with Case by American Optical Private Purchase

This is a circa 1970s private purchase issue type pair of PG-58 pilot's sunglasses used by the United States Air Force. The glasses are by American Optical and come with their original case. The frame is gold-filled and the arms are encased in an amber-colored resin.

Circa 1970s.

Approximately 1-11/16" in lens height and 5-1/2" in width (hinge to hinge); 5-1/2" arm length.

Gold-filled, glass, resin, vinyl with plastic lining.

Hinging arms; snap on case.
