ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1930s gas station attendant hat badge for Gulf Oil. Started in Spindletop, Texas, Gulf has been around since 1901. Gulf was in its first decade of being a major corporation when this particular patch would have been worn.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The patch shows some moderate wear and has an area of minor soiling.
