ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1912 one dollar token from the Ingle System for George Parslow of Schenectady, New York. Ingle likely patented the token and perhaps the "trade system" by which they were used at markets and other businesses, like George Parslow's outfit, in lieu of a credit account.

VINTAGE: Circa 1912.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/8" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Brass.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: PAT. JUN. 1909 on front; P within circle mark on reverse.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a coin collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAX94 LBCX9/12 SeBCX1/15

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The coin shows some spots of light to medium wear and tarnish.
