Vietnamese Order of the Dragon of Annam Officer Badge from WWII Era

This is a World War II era officer badge for the Order of the Dragon of Annam, established in Vietnam in 188The badge is a wonderfully dynamic dragon with a crown beneath hanging from a red and yellow striped ribbon. A starburst bearing an oval medallion with characters at center hangs beneath.

Circa World War II.

4-5/16" height and 1-3/4" width.

Silver with enamel and painted areas; silk ribbon.

Two straight pins.

8 (Excellent-): Badge has light tarnishing and some light wear on painted dragon and around edge of oval face of medallion, but is in otherwise wonderful condition.
