ARTIFACT: Saigon-made United States Army MARS (Military Affiliate Radio System) pocket patch. This Vietnam era patch shows two radio towers on 'Earth' with yellow bolts/transmission signals. The center reads: "MARS" in yellow embroidered lettering and is surrounded by white stars. The outer ring of the patch reads: "MILITARY AFFILIATE RADIO SYSTEM AB8AA" in black lettering.

VINTAGE: Circa Vietnam War era

SIZE: Approximately 3-3/16" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidered twill, nylon, silk/polyester threads, linen backing

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The patch shows minor to moderate wear, light soiling, colors remain bright, overall very fine condition.
