Vet Purchase Dachau-Made Bevo Nazi Waffen SS Panzer M-43 Cap Skull & Eagle Trapezoid Badge

This is a Nazi Waffen-SS Panzer M-43 skull and eagle bevo weave badge. This badge was made at Dachau and became a bring-back for the United States Army 135th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Gun Battalion veteran from whom we purchased it directly. His unit guarded Dachau after the camp was liberated. The short letter above was written in the veteran's own hand (his signature has been erased from the photo). A Xeroxed copy of this paperwork (including his name) and a facsimile photo of the veteran will be included with the sale of this badge.
