ARTIFACT:

This is a very rare Austrian Army's 12th Cavalry Division badge. Badge is roughly square and shows a rifleman and soldiers on horses in relief. The badge reads 12 RT.SCH.DIV.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

1-1/2" height and 1-3/8"width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Horiziontal pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS:

AUSGEF. G. GURSCHNER WIEN VII/2.
