ARTIFACT: Very rare, late WWII Pilot Flight Operating Instructions Manual for B-29 and B-29A Airplanes. The manual was published "FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY" under the joint authority of the Commanding General, Army Air Forces, the Chief Bureau of Aeronautics, and the Air Council of the United Kingdom. It is dated "15 SEPTEMBER 1944 REVISED 10 FEBRUARY 1945". At one point the manual was contained in a binder, it is now bound by rope and features over 100 pages of specific instructions for pilots, flight operation charts, great illustrations, emergency protocol, and a USA to British glossary. The top corner shows the potential original owner's name: "RONALD GERSLINE 920 WINCHESTER RD. LIBERTYVILLE, ILL".

SIZE: Approximately: 11" x 8-1/2"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Paper, rope bound, pen ink

ATTACHMENT: Rope, the holes for binder insertion.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The manual shows moderate wear, storage wear/soiling, mostly to edges of pages, mostly to front and back cover and around the holes for binder use, overall very find condition.
